He asked me whether I was free to go or not in the following day. Quickly, I said yes, I had time for the tour. It was a full-day tour with 2 Singaporean families including- 4 adults and 4 kids. After waiting for a while in the lobby, they came down and discussed with us the places for sightseeing. Finally, the tourists decided to visit Ho Chi Minh complex, The Temple of Literature and Long Bien Bridge. It took us more than 3 hours to see HCM Complex because it was quite crowded there. It was nearly noon and the kids were a bit tired and hungry, so we moved to Quan Ngon restaurant, where the tourists had a very traditional lunch with some Vietnamese dishes.
They were all satisfied with food and the restaurant decoration. Then we spent all the afternoon discovering the Temple of Literature. I thought that this place would not attract this group for the same in Vietnam and Singapore culture (The tourists were Chinese - Singaporean). But they said that although they’ve traveled to other Asian countries, they’ve never visited an ancient university like this before. Since the kids were quite tired, we had to finish the trip earlier than expected.
Thanks to their kind and humorous, my trial tour was completely finished. It would be a big challenge for me without Ms. Trang’s help. I have learnt not only about knowledge but also guiding tips, chatting, ordering and so on. As the result, now I have more confident, enthusiastic and passionate to discover and share my Hanoi with foreign friends.
